Have you experience of reviewing and supporting the development of effective systems and controls for data protection?Are you an expert in UK GDPR and other data protection legislation?
At London City Mission our vision is to see a growing and flourishing Church in our city, that is envisioned, equipped, and enabled to share the love of God and good news of Jesus Christ with the least reached communities in London and we're looking for a Data Protection Officer to help support this important vision by ensuring good practice in data protection.
Overall Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Chief Executive this role will:
- Assess LCM activities from a data protection perspective.
- Recommend changes needed and an implementation plan.
- Monitor and report progress against the plan.
- Answer staff queries and provide expert advice on data protection.

You will have strong personal support for the aims and objectives of London City Mission and a personal commitment for working internally in a way that aligns with our values.
Contract:
Contract role outside of IR35. Companies providing data protection services are also welcome
