The Role;

  • Provide quotations, shape drawings and technical support to extensive customer base
  • Process new customer enquiries including feasibility study
  • Liaise with internal departments including production and engineering regarding feasibility, design and function of profiles
  • Produce extrusion shape drawings using AutoCad 2D, Autodesk and Inventor 3D
  • Understand Product Approval process
  • Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Understanding of quality procedures / Romidot Processes.
  • Ability to demonstrate a high proficiency using design CAD software / Romidot systems
  • Ability to produce high quality drawings with limited supervision and instruction from engineers
  • Knowledge of Inventor 3D software desirable, AutoCad 2D and Autodesk essential
  • Communicate professionally (verbal and written) with clients, other professionals and contractors
  • Understand the construction process and how profiles are designed and manufactured
  • Ability to solve problems and present solutions reporting into Technical Manager
  • Highly organised with the ability to work with limited supervision
  • Ability to learn new processes and systems with ease
  • Flexible with the ability to transfer between several concurrent projects
  • Ability to listen and follow instructions from other members of the team
