Opportunity for a science graduate (chemistry, forensic science, chemical engineering) to join a rapidly growing global, financially secure, award-winning business on their graduate customer sales & support scheme.
Training will take place over two years; the salary will increase as you successfully progress through the training, starting at £25,000, rising to £26,000 after six months, £27,000 after 12 months and to £28,500 after 24 months.

As the graduate customer sales & support specialist, you will deliver outstanding commercial & technical support to customers across the globe.
The graduate scheme aims to build your knowledge and experience across a range of essential functions within the business including:
- Commercial
- Customer outreach & prospecting, marketing campaigns, and exploring sales opportunities
- Quoting, configuring, reviewing and checking customer orders
- Supporting field sales and distribution partners with technical and commercial information
- Direct sales of products and accessories to a global customer base
- Technical
- Remote support of customers with any technical concerns
- Supporting fieldbased engineers by ensuring correct part allocation and fault identification before site visits
- Developing support & training documentation, delivering training both remotely and facetoface
- Laboratory & Data Analysis
- Testing, maintaining and refurbishing returned products or demonstration equipment
- Analysis of fault data, feedback to engineering & manufacturing as part of the Quality Management process
- Company Business Software programmes including CRM System (Salesforce), ERP System (SAP B1), internal training platforms etc.
- A degree in chemistry, forensic science, chemical engineering or similar
- Knowledge of GC, GC-MS or Mass Spec would be an advantage.
- The desire to work in a customer focussed role and the willingness to travel if required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
