We work with over 900 cyber security experts to help organisations improve and show their cyber security. We also certify connected devices and ships of all sizes around the world. Through the Civil Aviation Authority's ASSURE scheme, we help the aviation industry manage their cyber security risks.

This role offers a mix of working from home and in the office. You will need to come to our Malvern office at least one day a week.

A BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check will be required for this role.

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Contracts Manager to oversee and manage the company's supplier contracts and legal schedules. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all contracts are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company policies and legal requirements. This role requires a proactive individual with contract management expertise, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management:

  • Oversee the lifecycle of all supplier contracts, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, executing, and renewing agreements.
  • Ensure that all contracts are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a centralised repository for all contracts and legal schedules, ensuring easy access and version control.

Supplier Relationship Management:

  • Collaborate with procurement, legal, and operational teams to ensure supplier contracts align with business objectives and requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries from suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including key deliverables, deadlines, and milestones.
  • Identify, support the implementation and monitiring of, any contractual governance requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier contracts, escalating issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.
  • Maintain a register of legalislation that applicable to the organisation including risk and ongoing compliance.

Updates and Amendments:

  • Manage updates, amendments, and addendums to existing contracts, ensuring all changes are accurately documented and communicated.
  • Track and implement changes to legal schedules, ensuring alignment with current regulations and company policies.

Process Improvement:

  • Develop and implement standardized processes and templates for contract creation, review, and approval.
  • Continuously improve contract management systems and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate regular reports on contract status, key dates (e.g., renewals, expirations), and compliance metrics.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on contract performance and trends.

Collaboration and Training:

  • Work closely with legal, procurement, finance, and operational teams to ensure seamless contract management processes.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on contract-related policies, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

  • While a degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field can be helpful, we value relevant experience, skills, and a willingness to learn just as much. Certifications in contract management (e.g., IACCM/WorldCC) or similar qualifications are a bonus, but not required.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in contract management, procurement, or a related field, preferably in a company with a large and diverse supplier base.
  • Experience managing legal schedules and high volumes of contracts.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, compliance, and risk management principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and propose solutions.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a problem-solving attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
