    Biomedical Scientist in Histology


    We are seeking a Biomedical Scientist to join our team and contribute their skills and expertise to support the laboratory's service.


    The ideal candidate will be proficient in microtomy, with experience of cutting over 30 blocks an hour to a high standard. They will also have knowledge of embedding and staining techniques.


    This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals looking for challenging roles that utilize their existing skill set.
    The role involves providing guidance to junior members of staff on daily tasks such as:
    preserve embed dehydrate cut stain analyze
    - HCPC registration,
    currently working within histology in UK NHS or private sector,
    experience using coagulation, blood film morphology, blood grouping testing Sysmex Beckman Coulter DxH BioRad IH-1000
    good communication ability adaptable work flexible shifts,
