Overview

In the hiring managers wordsI would like the mechanic and not the driver Someone who is technically astute, with a passion for automation, who can help with the delivery and adoption of the DevOps enablement stack (Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Vault,AWS) to the whole of the software engineering community.

The role itself, will involve working closely with the Software Engineering teams to fully adopt the DevOps Enablement Stack, adding capability and integrating with other components and services.

Introducing the CI/CD workflows, and allied services, in aDevOps environment to enable adoption among the Engineering teams with the new environment.

Job Requirements / Experience Required:

An excellent understanding of modern Software Development Lifecycles including the concepts of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery. Ideally coming from a software engineering background and has transitioned into DevOps.
Experience of: Terraform to define infrastructure as code; Vault for secrets management; Containerisation utilising Kubernetes and Docker; Standing up services and workflows on AWS; and Linux.
