The Role:
What you will do?

You will join a team of Physiotherapists and BASRaT members to provide first-class, evidence-based assessment, treatment and rehabilitation to Employees within community NHS MSK settings in South London and Croydon.


The varied role will include an opportunity to get involved in delivering group exercise, one to one rehabilitation with a wide range of patients, health promotion and pain management/functional rehabilitation groups.


Skills and Experience:


  • Degree in Sports Rehabilitation
  • Full graduate member of BASRaT and entitled to the use of the title Graduate Sports Rehabilitator
  • Experience of working individually and within a team
  • Proven experience of managing a caseload of patients and running rehabilitation classes
  • Ability to deliver soft tissue treatments, set goals, and design individualised and progressive rehabilitation programmes
  • Adept in time management and prioritisation.
  • Sound musculoskeletal knowledge including assessment/treatment of common conditions of the spine, upper limb and lower limb. Awareness of postoperative protocols and precautions
  • Friendly and approachable with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team Player
  • An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the needs of the client

Desirable:


  • Experience of working with Physiotherapists
  • Prior NHS experience
  • Experience with chronic pain patients
  • An uptodate CPD portfolio
