About The Role:

Our Placement Programme is aimed at those hoping to gain practical experience in the industry. As a Sales and Transformation Placement Student you will support transformation opportunities through various business change projects.

You will also work alongside the Salesforce Team to ensure smooth running of the Sales and Marketing processes and systems.

Ideally you will be studying towards or have graduated from a business-related discipline and previous customer service experience is advantageous.

This role is for a fixed-term length of
four months, ideally starting immediately.


Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Managing the daytoday processes needed for

Sales Support:
plot interest, unsubscribe, Onfido and their relevant inboxes.

  • Support the Group Sales System Manager in creating material for Sales Teams such as training material.
  • Create communications to inform the Sales and Marketing Teams of any news and updates pertinent to their role.
  • Gain knowledge of Salesforce and how to use this to assist the Sales Teams, gather data and monitor activity.
  • Manage the Salesforce Team inbox and assist in responding to all Salesforce queries/
  • Support the Regional Enquiry Consultants and Champions networks alongside the Group Sales System Manager and Sales System Trainer.
  • Involvement in business change projects across the company both to learn and to provide a fresh perspective on business processes and transformation opportunities within Cala.
  • Work with the Business Change Team to help develop and implement new technologies to be introduced to the Sales Function and the wider business.

Other Responsibilities

  • Be agile to support where is needed with the Group Sales System Manager and Sales System Trainer.
  • Assist in promoting the Cala values and pillars within the Sales Team to encourage best practice.
  • CRM testing during deployments and monitoring for any general system improvements.

About You:

As a successful applicant for this role, you may have the following knowledge and skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, particularly an ability to adapt approach depending on a situation
  • A willingness to learn and be pushed out of comfort zones
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once and be agile to move between these whenr equired
  • Can pick up new technologies and systems with ease
  • Confident on Microsoft products (eg: PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Able to build and maintain relationships
  • High level of emotional intelligence
  • Good business acumen
