Description

We have a current opportunity for a Young Persons Support Worker on a temporary basis. The position will be based in Birmingham, a car driver isn't necessary but is an ideal. For further information about this position please apply.

This role will be a 12 week temporary placement with a view to offer a permanent contract after.

Responsibilities of a Young Persons Support Worker

You will spend your time offering a 1:1 support service to young people, enabling them to live as independently as they can
Provide a crucial role line managing a small team of Support Workers, under the guidance of the Project Manager, conducting regular supervisions and case management sessions
Work closely with our service users to work on developing their independence, seeking out opportunities for them to learn, work and get involved in community and social activities
Carrying out routine health and safety checks

Requirements of a Young Persons Support Worker

Proven track record of working with Young People
DBS on the update service or issues within the last 12 months
Able to start asap and hit the ground running
A driver isn't essential but ideal will need to be able to commute around the Birmingham area
