A Primary SEN school located in CV6 Coventry is seeking to employ a Teaching assistant on a temporary contract from ASAP to work in a KS1 class for young people with Autism and SEMH difficulties.

This post will continue until the end of the academic yearwith view to a continuing from September.

This is a well-established school which carries an excellent reputation in its local community with the ability to support learners with a range of difficulties.

The Young people in this class do display some challenging behaviours, so having experience in this field is important, although not imperative as training will be offered upon appointment.

The class has been described as 'a lovely group and the role ofthe successful Teaching assistant will be to support these students daily.

Teaching assistant with a background in specialist schools
Teaching assistant with SEN experience in mainstream schools
Youth workers
Graduates who have degrees associating Psychology, Criminology, Sports coaching, Youth and community studies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
