Finance Assistant - Belfast

  • This role does not involve budget responsibilities or managing staff

Duties will include:


  • Cash and borrowing management for the Group to ensure that cash balances are available to meet obligations for payments to employees, suppliers, DfI and others as they fall due.
  • Processing, recording and management of all financial transactions relating to bank transactions, borrowing transactions, financing costs and administration of performance bonds.
  • Authorisation of payment instructions including BACS files, online payments and cheques.
  • Development of Treasury processes to support the business in achieving customer facing process improvements e.g. digitisation and development of broader range of customer payment and refund options

Criteria:


  • At least twoyears experience of working in a Finance/Accounting environment OR a third level Business/Finance related qualification.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational ability
