Finance Assistant - Belfast

- This role does not involve budget responsibilities or managing staff
Duties will include:
- Cash and borrowing management for the Group to ensure that cash balances are available to meet obligations for payments to employees, suppliers, DfI and others as they fall due.
- Processing, recording and management of all financial transactions relating to bank transactions, borrowing transactions, financing costs and administration of performance bonds.
- Authorisation of payment instructions including BACS files, online payments and cheques.
- Development of Treasury processes to support the business in achieving customer facing process improvements e.g. digitisation and development of broader range of customer payment and refund options
Criteria:
- At least twoyears experience of working in a Finance/Accounting environment OR a third level Business/Finance related qualification.
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong organisational ability
