We are working on behalf of a highly respected Plant Hire provider serving the East & South Midlands and currently have an exciting opportunity for a Semi-Skilled Plant Fitter based at their site in North West Leicestershire.

Job Summary:

The Semi-Skilled Plant Fitter will work closely with the Plant Fitters and will be responsible for undertaking a wide variety of mechanical service, maintenance and repairs to various types of plant machinery both in the workshop and on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service and repair of construction equipment or miscellaneous equipment, maintaining safe working practices throughout.
• Undertake routine inspections of plant machinery.
• Ensure a smart and professional appearance, wearing appropriate work wear and PPE, and to ensure housekeeping in your work area is of a high standard.
• Flexibility to work overtime as and when necessary.
• Work in accordance with UK standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental care.

Qualifications / Experience:

• Previous experience and knowledge of working as a Vehicle Mechanic or Mechanical Fitter would be a distinct advantage.

Salary / Benefits:

Circa. £13.50p/h - £15.00p/h (Dependant on experience) + O/T + Benefits


Hours:


Full-Time:
Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week
