At Wayfair Planning and Inventory Management, we thrive to partner with thousands of suppliers to maximize customers' experience.

This means driving speed and availability through inventory and position strategies with suppliers leveraging Wayfair's fulfillment services (CastleGate) as well as suppliers' own supply chain capacities.


_ We are seeking highly motivated individuals to work closely with suppliers and help them expand their business with Wayfair. Your main focus will be ensuring availability of products, optimizing inventory turnover, and strategically positioning inventory for future success._

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with different teams to understand sales and market trends, and their impact on forecasts.
  • Develop and build relationships with Suppliers planning and operational teams
  • Develop plans for purchase orders and actions based on supplier goals.
  • Communicate with suppliers to ensure order fulfillment and develop longterm strategies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and take corrective actions
  • Manage inventory flows, including forecasting, purchasing, and removing aged inventory.
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure supplier execution and understand demand drivers
  • Support initiatives to improve inventory planning systems, data, and processes.
  • Analyze inventoryrelated issues and develop action plans for improvement.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial and operational analysis to drive supplier action and decisionmaking.
  • Regularly communicate performance trends and improvement opportunities to senior management.

What You'll Need

  • Experience in operations, retail, engineering, consulting, strategy, or finance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability to change.
  • Teamoriented attitude and enthusiasm for collaborating with different teams.
