The Intensive Care Unit at Oldham Care Organisation is seeking an enthusiastic individual to work with our friendly team.


You will be responsible for managing and maintaining supplies of stock, non-stock materials and equipment within the ICU, including ordering and receipt of goods., ensuring the department runs smoothly and is appropriately stocked at all times.

You should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise across multi agencies and multi-disciplinary departments.


The ability to work independently and adapt to an environment of changing priorities is an essential component to consistently facilitate a patient focused approached.

Duties include stores ordering, management of stock, and maintenance of equipment.


It is essential that you can work in an orderly and systematic manner, possess good literacy, IT, numeracy, communication, and organizational skills.


Provision of an effective stock control service, ensuring all items are requisitioned, delivered, and distributed within agreed time limits, reporting any problems to the unit manager.

To ensure standing orders/call off orders are updated and ensure a robust filling system for achieved documentation.

Review and audit stock levels and advise senior staff of costs of equipment and disposables.


You will be working with a fantastic and supportive team who will be happy to assist you as settle within the team.

Regular feedback and one-to-one will be provided by your manager to ensure that you stay happy in your job.
