    Overview


    Package: Salary up to £40,000 basic salary (75,000 OTE), car allowance, commission is uncapped, annual companywide discretionary bonus, 25 days annual leave, gym membership, healthcare plan.

    We are assisting a client with offices in Birmingham to recruit for a Business Development Manager to drive sales within one of the company's specific areas. You will need to come from a solution oriented sales environment such as security, construction, compliance, facilities management or similar.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform the full 360 sales process from initial contact through to meeting the client face to face to secure the business.
    • Help develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve product and services sales targets.
    • Identify and prospect new clients within the target market segments including public and private sector clients.
    • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and providing appropriate product recommendations and solutions.
    • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing the features, benefits, and value of the organisation's offerings.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales campaigns, promotions, and lead generation activities.
    • Prepare and deliver sales proposals and contracts, negotiating terms and pricing to close deals.
    • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports, tracking sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, operations, and customer support, to ensure smooth sales processes and customer satisfaction.
    • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand our network and identify new business opportunities.
    • Prepare and present sales reports, metrics, and recommendations to senior management to facilitate informed decision-making.

    Requirements


    You will be from a solution oriented sales environment such as security, construction, compliance, facilities management or similar. The company is looking for someone with a positive attitude to developing new business and a proven track record in selling a solution to a varied customer base.
