Description

To provide the Trusts staff with advice on their responsibilities under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, and other official guidance in respect of Fire Safety in NHS premises.

To undertake fire safety risk assessments and fire compartment surveys and deliver fire safety training Thorough Knowledge of
Fire training

You can determine the likelihood of obtaining a Certificate of Sponsorship for the post by assessing your circumstances against criteria specified
on the website

The role is within the Estates and Facilities Directorate.

The Fire Safety Advisor will assist with the implementation of good fire safety management practices across the Trust.


The post holder will report directly to the Fire Compliance Manager and assist them in their responsibility as Trust lead for fire safety management.

A degree of 'out of normal hours' working time flexibility will be required in times of occasional need.


HUTH has two main sites:
Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital with an annual budget of approximately £500 million.
