Role Description


Responsibilities:

Configure and develop on the ServiceNow platform including routine changes or configuration adjustments.
Provision, configure, operate, and maintain/patch the installed ServiceNow platform.
Perform ServiceNow upgrades and patching.
Coordinate system updates across different ServiceNow instances, ensuring latest patches and configuration changes are maintained.
Assist with defining the requirements for and creating the monitoring metrics, MI/BI report content and management dashboards.
Perform operational administrative tasks as needed for production and non-production instances.
Support ServiceNow agile software releases.
Mentor qualified but less experienced team colleagues.Â
Take ownership of projects and manage internal stakeholders.Â
Essential
Supporting on-prem ServiceNow deployments from an operational perspective
Strong MySQL/MariaDb Database Administration.
Experience of supporting LINUX enterprise systems in secure environments.
High availability/dual site service provision.
Understanding the important monitoring requirements and metrics for LINUX, MariaDB and ServiceNow.
Performance tuning of the above technologies.
Growth mindset and strong team player.
SC Clearance.
Desirable
Experience with VMware vSphere.
Experience with Git, Jenkins and Ansible.
Experience of operating in Agile / Devops type environments.
