Your new role
Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is looking for an ED&I Manager to be responsible for the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion vision, strategy, and project management for our client to demonstrate their commitment to ED&I and build their employee valueproposition, humanise their culture more and support their overarching philosophy of human health care.
Core job duties:
STRATEGY, GOVERNANCE & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Project management of the EDI EMEA programme, including creation, maintenance and administration of the EDI program project management plan and project management tools.
- Coordinate the Equality & Diversity organisational steering group, encouraging participation and engagement from a crosssection of the organisation and leading a team of voluntary E&D Champions.
- Crossfunctional collaboration across the business to ensure employees are adequately supported with delivering ED&I initiatives.
- Develop an ED&I strategy that aligns with the companies' immediate, medium, and longterm goals.
- Engage and align with stakeholders across the EMEA region to support the delivery of corporate initiatives that embed change.
- Lead and motivate employees, project teams, and resource groups to drive positive change.
- Incorporate marketleading practices into program design and introduce innovative solutions to achieve business goals.
- Utilise leading industry practices, future trends, and innovative solutions to design, and maintain ED&I programmes.
- To support the wider HR team to advise the organisation on equality matters throughout the employment lifecycle, including recruitment, sickness absence, reasonable adjustments, and any potential harassment.
- Build and test positive action approaches to increase diversity and inclusion across the organisation, at all levels
- Working with Senior Leadership Group to ensure they contribute to the delivery of EDI goals and plans both locally and organisationally.
- Lead strategic EDI input into key organisational processes, such as talent acquisition (including Early Careers), talent management and talent development through EDI lens, reviewing working practices.
- Ensure legal requirement are managed and monitored.
COMMUNICATION
- Develop EDI communication strategy & roadmap in partnership with Internal Comms.
- Liaise with internal Comms teams to ensure branding and consistent communications on EDI.
- Plan, support and manage the delivery of learning initiatives that contribute to advancing EDI.
DATA MANAGEMENT
- Responsibility for the translation of data insights to feed and inform of strategic priorities, that lead to tangible actions for the organisation
