Description

We're looking for friendly and caring people to join our team of Physiotherapy Assistants. Our Assistants will assist the physiotherapists in performing an array of treatments that are crucial to patients' health. This includes massaging muscles, helping patients move and giving them a general sense of well-being.

These highly trained professionals may also be responsible for explaining their patients' physical therapy program to them, connecting them with other members of the healthcare team, and using their expertise in working with patients to ensure that the entire team provides a positive patient experience.

The ideal Physiotherapy Assistant will have an understanding of human anatomy, the ability to communicate effectively with patients, and a willingness to contribute to the physiotherapy team's effort in providing excellent care all around.

Responsibilities:

Assist physiotherapists with appointments.
Receive and organise records from patients.
Calculate and record patient information.
Maintain patient records.
Administer first aid to patients.
Administer assistive equipment when ordered to do so by the physio.
Observe patients and notify other medical staff of any changes in their condition.
