About the role

This role will be required to work lead the Allocations Function of the Operations teams, arranging and managing external hire vehicles.

What you'll be doing
Have overall management and responsibility for day to day source and
supply of external hire vehicles;

Be first point of contact for escalation of issues;
Carry out weekly / daily reporting of but not limited too:
Supply queries;
Reconcile hire vehicle records;
Current live hires;
Pricing queries;
Vehicle specification;
Accuracy and validation of bookings;
Customer complaints;
Quality check paperwork from external suppliers;
Cost management;
Management of reissue vehicles, including internal car hire fleet;
Internal hire and driver risk processes are followed to ensure risk is

minimised

Update management system in real time;
Ensure compliance with DVSA standards and company policy;

Be a superuser for vehicle hire system

The role requires strong communication, interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
The individual will be capable of prioritising their workload ensuring they deliver what is required within the given timescales.
The individual will demonstrate a tenacious approach to problem solving; investigating all appropriate avenues until such time that resolution is reached.
