Our well established client is looking for a Family Solicitor to join their busy team based in either their Ringwood or Christchurch office.


The successful applicant will be working with experienced members of the team but should be in a position to run their own caseload independently with some supervision.


They undertake all types of privately funded family work on behalf of a varied client base from modest to high net worth individuals together also with some complex private children law matters.


  • A qualified solicitor/ FCILEx with 3 + year's PQE
  • Ability to convey information accurately and articulately, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to adapt and respond to changes
  • Able to work independently and manage a caseload
  • Anticipates client's future needs, sees opportunities for other teams and makes suitable introductions
  • Returns client calls
  • Able to meet new clients and win new business

The following abilities would also be desirable:

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Marketing and networking skills
  • Can communicate effectively at all levels
  • Ability to motivate yourself to meet / exceed targets
  • Shows initiative
  • Ability to structure own workload, making best use of resources and time
  • Delegates appropriate tasks to team members
