Ferrositi is a small precision engineering company founded in 2012.
We manufacture bespoke products for various industries, including, aerospace, defence, oil and gas sectors, and bespoke architectural metal work, using core CNC and manual machining facilitieswhich can cater for a broad range of products.
We regularly invest in the latest technology and operating systems and offer large engineering component solutions to set us apart from our competitors.
The role:
We are currently advertising for CNC millers and turners that are capable of not just setting and operating but also programming CNC mills/lathes, error detection and problem solving, liaison with cad programmer over refinements and methods, working to listsand liaising with colleagues.
Essential:
- Programming, setting and operating experience of CNC Milling/Turning machinery
- CNC Milling/Turning experience within a similar hitech environment
- Able to work accurately to deadlines
- An ability to read 1st and 3rd angle engineering drawings.
- An enthusiastic team player with a cando/flexible attitude
- Continual process improvement attitude
Desirable:
- Relevant qualifications
- A willingness to help in other areas of the factory should the demand arise
- Conventional Turning experience
- Manual and/or CNC Milling experience
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- First
- Good Knowledge of Feeds and speeds when running CNC machines
- Inprocess controls using manual devices (gauges, micrometer)
- Problem
