SDA Care is seeking to recruit a skilled youth worker to support our young people within our residential settings and in the community.
This part time role will providea diverse range of opportunities to work with other professionals and teams to support our young people and develop your professional practice.
This role at present is for evening work and will involve a flexible approach to the coordination of direct 1:1 support for our young people as well as providing responsiveintervention at times of increased need.
Our vision for this role is to ensure that you provide person centered support, whilst supporting the organisation to continue influencing system change to achieve better outcomes for more children and young people.

Being a key worker at SDA Care Being also means working towards meeting a whole range of social, spiritual, emotional and intellectual
needs in a way that promotes dignity, choice and independence, whilst promoting a caring, healthy, stimulating, safe and secure environment
for the child. You will act as one of the key points of contact with health and social care providers as appropriate and contribute to assessing
their needs and preferences at agreed milestones.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary:
£10.50-£11.50 per hour
Day range:
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends only
Physical setting:
- Residential home
Experience:
- semi-independent: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- DBS certificate (preferred)
