PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Logistically carrying out the project.
- Creating written communication to the leaseholders.
- Record keeping for the project and database.
- Being professional with all stakeholders and in all forms of communication.
- Helping to ensuring the project keeps to time and budget.
- To produce reports and statistics as required to monitor progress.
- To respond to enquiries regarding the project.

JOB CONTEXT / REPORTING to:
Southwark Council is the Freeholder for 14,000+ leaseholders. Part of the Homeownership department's responsibility is to ensure the proper billing and collection of the leaseholders' service charges.
Since a recent change in regulation, Landlords now have the obligation to ask certain qualifying Leaseholders for a Leaseholder Certificate, which has certain implications on the billing of particular safety works done on the Leaseholders' buildings.
It will be the Building Safety Officer's responsibility to request this document from the relevant leaseholders.PERSON SPECIFICATION

Knowledge, including educational qualifications:
- Highly organised
- Meticulous record keeper
- Proficient at using Microsoft Office software, particularly word and excel.
- Understanding of and commitment to; Equal Opportunities Policy, Health and Safety Policy, No Smoking Policy
Experience:
- Experience using Microsoft Office software, particularly word & excel.
- Experience of building and maintaining basic databases
- Administrational work
Aptitudes, Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines
- Ability to work on own initiative and be selfmotivated and committed to providing a service to customers.
- A high degree of interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at different levels both orally and in writing
