Description

The Role
As a software tester, you will be involved in the quality assurance stage of software development.

You will conduct both automated and manual tests to ensure that the software created by the development team is fit for purpose before it is deployed to customers for UAT.

Your role is integral to the software development cycle and you will be working closely with clients, developers and functional consultants to ensure that the software we develop meets client requirements and our own quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the definition & execution of the test approach
Execute system, integration, smoke & regression testing
Design, develop & track test cases & scripts
Detect & track software defects
Help troubleshoot errors
Test configurations & customisations of the system
Triage customer bugs/issue raised
Provide support & documentation to the development team, support team and end users
Analyse user stories and user requirements for validity and feasibility
Collaborate closely with other team members and departments
Maintain awareness of and follow Chorus company procedures and guidelines
Demonstrate behaviours that promote our values
Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested 2 Personal
