Pipefitter

Start Date:24th April 2023

Salary:
£ P/Hour

Working Week:
Mon-Fri (8 Hrs/Pday)

Payment Options:
CIS / PAYE Direct / PAYE Umbrella / (please let us know your preference)

Duration:4 Months

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Reading and interpreting drawings, plans, and specifications
Cutting, bending, and threading pipes to required shapes and sizes
Installing and assembling pipes, valves, and fittings
Connecting pipes to heating and cooling systems, and other equipment
Pressure testing pipework to ensure compliance with safety standards
Repairing and maintaining existing pipework
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Completing necessary paperwork and documentation
Coordinating with other trades and project managers as required

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in pipefitting on construction and refurb projects in the UK
Experience in the installation of screwed pipework up to 50mm
Experience working with steel, copper, pipework
Must hold a valid skills card and IPAF certificate
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Physically fit and able to work in a variety of environments and conditions
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
Full UK driving license
