Job Title:
FCA SURFACE MOUNT OPERATIVE**
Directly responsible to:Supervisor/Production Manager

Minimum Requirements:

Be able to speak fluent English and have good communication skills.
Must be flexible and work to tight deadlines
Have good computer skills
Inspect for any Defects on Electronics PCB's.
Take pride in their work to produce high quality products
Must be supportive to all departments when needed.
Work to Environmental Health and Safety standards
Understanding of Electronic Components, what they are, Identification Including Surface Mount

All employees shall conform to the requirements of the companies' quality assurance procedures, the companies' health and safety policy requirements and the requirements of the companies' statement of terms and conditions as issued.

Outline of job responsibilities and duties:
As an Operative you will be personally responsible for the production of Sub-Contract Products.

Ensuring daily team targets are achieved against the company's goals and deadlines.

The person must be flexible and supportive within all departments and assist the individual departments where needed.

Following daily work instruction from Supervisor for the department.

Perform and complete tasks pre-defined by the user manual.

Working efficiently whilst adhering to and maintaining personal health and safety requirements.

Taking pride in their work to produce high quality products.

To be able to work constructively as an individual and effectively within a team.

Specific job responsibilities and activities:

To be flexible and support each department where needed, this includes Surface Mount, PCB Assembly, PCB Flow, PCB Test, Assembly and Dispatch.
Person must be able to follow wiring and circuit diagrams, whilst being thorough in following procedure.
Have experience in hand soldering and desoldering for small repairs on the PCB's and Surface Mount.
Have the ability to use hand and power tools.
Have an understanding and knowledge of electronic components.
To be able to read multimeter readings.
To be able to battery power test.
Identify through visually inspection and fault find within the PCB's to ensure they are connected correctly.
Assemble the boards and build enclosures for the panels.
Any other Business required in department.
