Multitask Recruitment Solutions have an exciting new opportunity for a Production Operative to work on finishing department for our client based in Calder Vale.

Own transport would be advantageous due to location.


Shifts:

Monday to Thursday 7:30 am-4:30 pm

Friday 7:30 am-12:30 pm


Pay:

£10.42 per hour. Pay rise after training period.


Role:


  • Repair and sewing by hand of têxtile product.
  • Operators of semiautomatic machinery and transportation of product.
  • Quality control and inspection of product, logging key information into computerised (touch screen) system.
  • Due to the nature of the work, a level of manual dexterity is required. Once trained, most work days are split between sitting and repairing têxtile product, and standing operating machinery.
  • Some lifting required.

Requirements:


  • Ability to work well in a small team.
  • Maintain a strong work ethic in a fastpaced and varied role with some heavy lifting.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Willingness to learn new skills.
  • Have attention to detail for QC checks and repairs.
  • Ability to work to quality and performance targets.
  • Must be able to read and write in English.
