RG Consultancy are working with an established company based in the north Wigan area who are looking to add a new person to the small, friendly finance team.


Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will involve being responsible for the purchase ledger function and assisting the Finance Manager with general accounting tasks.


Duties include:

  • Processing invoices
  • Matching against purchase orders as required
  • Sending for approval
  • Reconciling statements
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Bank postings
  • Payments
  • Assisting the Finance Manager with general accounts duties relating to management accounts, expenses, petty cash etc.


This role is a great opportunity for someone experienced in purchase ledger who is keen to get some exposure to management accounts duties.


The working hours are 8am-4:30pm (37.5 hours per week) with flexibility, they offer upto 25 days holiday, company pension, death in service and free parking on site.
