Retailers have seen revenue uplifts of between £5k and £120k per month, making the platform mission critical to local business.


Our Location


We are a Scottish start-up with 120 colleagues based around the UK and our Head Office is located in Dundee.

This is a remotely based role (within the UK) where occasional travel to our Dundee office may be required.


About the Team


Reporting into our Social Media and PR Manager, the central marketing team play a crucial role in delivering a marketing strategy.

The team directly deliver growth for the business, from store launch marketing support to the planning and execution of an always-on customer campaigns calendar.


About the Role


With a primary focus on Public Relations, the Marketing Executive will create effective PR and campaign communications which enable our stores to successfully launch onto our platform, and will deploy activities that acquire new customers and retain existing.

Equally, they'll be able to support our retailers with the delivery of the wider marketing plan.

Our Marketing Executive will (but is not limited to):

  • Support their lead to execute 12 month Social Media and PR plans
  • Act as a PR SME on new store launches
  • Engage with colleagues, our partners and the wider Snappy business to draft stories from local areas that can then be sold into local media
  • Monitor media coverage and proactively share with key internal stakeholders, highlighting any learnings, findings and opinions
  • Create and distribute real life content
- often turning existing campaign briefs into attractive content

  • Schedule and interact with our retailers to distribute content
  • Communicate with external stakeholders (e.g. retailers, media, customers) to help execute impactful PR activations.
  • Brief in creative assets to relevant colleagues to support PR and marketing campaign activities.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have/be:

  • Experience in a marketing position
- with demonstrable knowledge of PR

  • Real content creation and copywriting skills
- with excellent proof-reading skills

  • Stellar interpersonal skills
- able to get the most out of internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a commercial setting

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • A Marketing/PR qualification
  • Experience working with or for the food retail sector
