Finance Manager

Location - Manchester
Salary - £53,000-62,000


Simpson Judge are working with a well-established manufacturing business based in Trafford Park, Manchester, who have an opportunity for a Finance Manager, in a broad role, managing a small team.


Responsibilities include:

  • Company Secretary duties.
  • Production of monthly financial/management accounts and presentation at management meetings.
  • Preparation of year end statutory accounts.
  • Up to date with IFRS accounting standards and produce accurate and timely accounts that meet local statutory requirements as well as parent company's needs.
  • Run the Monthly and Year end close process.
  • Managing performance of the finance team, supporting and overseeing the completion of daily tasks for accounts payables and receivables.
  • Oversee daily bank reconciliation.
  • Analysing profit by product & sales analysis reporting by product/ Customer with Margins.
  • Managing treasury function for foreign currencies.
  • Manage relationships with Auditors, banks and other financial stakeholders.
  • Other related projects/duties as may arise from time to time as directed by senior management and directors.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified accountant
  • Previous people management experience (ideal, not required)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
