Cranleigh STEM Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a leading Food Sustainability company who are seeking a Multiskilled Engineer.


Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the role is varied in terms of building new systems at the company's Oxford office as part of an engineering team and supporting the installation, commissioning, and servicing of new systems at the customer's site.

Oncethe systems are on a customer's site, you will undertake planned preventative maintenance and provide reactive technical support to customer sites when required.


There will also be a requirement to support some of the client's customer's initial system trials currently underway in the EU, with the running and maintenance of mobile production systems along with some involvement in R&D-related projects as engineeringsupport at the head office.


You need to be proficient with industrial electrical systems along with practical skills in terms of being involved in the assembly of systems that involve mechanical content such as piping, instrumentation, pumps and assembly/ fitting.

Familiarisation ofPLC's and able to fault find within a PLC programme along with familiarity to industrial instrumentation such as flow meters, temperature meters and potentially UV sensors would be advantageous in this role.


Multiskilled Engineer Experience and Qualifications required:

  • Electrical & Mechanical skillset
  • Hold Electrical & Mechanical qualifications
  • Ideally have related training to all workshop skills, fitting / assembly / electrical panel build. Able to read and interpret Engineering drawings
  • Able to work unsupervised and interpret engineering and electrical drawings for a physical build and service maintenance of a new chemical production system
