About our client

Our client is an extremely successful long-term growth equity investment platform who is on a mission to invest in and partner with purpose-led businesses which deliver market leading financial returns, whilst making a meaningful societal and environmentalimpact.

It is a highly entrepreneurial business, with a mission-driven investment team based in London.

They are now looking to bring on board an experienced Investor Relations Manager to work closely alongside the partners and establish their IR function.


What the job involves:


  • Investor outreach to new and existing investors and ongoing engagement through regular reports, answering queries and updates
  • Building an investor outreach plan and ensuring its implementation alongside the partners: research, outreach and relationship building
  • Fundraising: Project manage fundraises, prepare pitching and diligence materials, drive the investor outreach, manage diligence processes, follow ups and onboarding
  • Coinvestment programme: Project manage coinvestment syndication, sourcing investment partners (both existing LPs as well as new external ones) and acting as the liaison with the investment team, ensuring timely completion of diligence and commitment
  • Communications: Increase brand awareness, liaise with communication agencies for deal announcements and general PR

Who we are looking for:


  • Educated to degree level with relevant investor relations/placement agent experience within private markets
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills, able to build rapport with internal stakeholders and investors alike
  • Handson, disciplined approach and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Immaculate attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and forwardthinking approach
  • A demonstrable personal interest for environmental and societal impact
  • Additional European language such as French or Dutch would be advantageous but not essential
