Description

A food manufacturing and production company are looking to recruit a Production Supervisor to ensure that production operations are carried out effectively and to lead the Utilities Team to maintain good standards of hygiene across the site and ensure intake procedures are followed.

Duties:

Ensure staff are planned and organised in advance
Ensure cleaning equipment is available and progress and schedules are checked and maintained daily
Interpret intake data against contract specification and take appropriate allowances
Maintain laboratory equipment to a necessary standard and calibration status
Liaising with transporters and merchants regarding claims when necessary
Provide training as required and ensure that full cover can be provided when needed
In the absence of production management act as deputy on all Safety, Health, and Environmental matters, oversee product quality and manage stock levels

To be considered for this exciting Production Supervisor role, you will need the following experience:

IOSH Managing Safely is required
Computer literate and confident to use a range of computer software is essential
Management experience is required
Food Safety Certification is beneficial
Lean Manufacturing is advantageous
Willing to undertake further training for job development
Process engineering knowledge is beneficial
