Customer Service Operative

GI Group is now recruiting on behalf of a global leader in the logistics industry and are currently looking for Customer Service Operatives for a local courier company based in Slough.

This is an on-going temporary position that can lead into a permanent role.

Hybrid working available once fully trained

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide a quality service to all our internal and external customers dealing and supporting with any queries they may have in a timely and professional manner.
  • To ensure all targets are achieved and KPI's are met within specific deadlines
  • Provide feedback to Service Claims, Billing, and Aviation & Sales to stop reoccurring issues.
  • Prioritise workload on a daily basis ensuring Customer needs are always prioritised.
Skills Required

  • Knowledge of Customs regulations/resolving complex queries
  • Experience handling accounting queries (Billing & VAT Queries)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft packages & Oracle system (Desirable)
  • Negotiation & Interpersonal skills
  • Highly selfmotivated
  • Good time keeping
  • Good standard of written English
  • Good telephone communication
  • Ability to work under pressure
