Finance Business Partner, Service Recoveries**- Are you a qualified accountant?

    Finance Business Partner, based in London, Birmingham, Bristol or Manchester.
  • At BT for Business, our service team supports our contracts and products throughout the entire process, from winning new business and designing and delivering solutions, to managing them in their operational phase. The people are the differentiator, they create the value add that makes people choose and stay with BT.
  • In this role you will provide financial support to the trading units that consumer our services, understanding the transformation we have delivered in service to reduce the cost base, the demand ups/ demand downs compared to our budget. This role will be start to move the dial in the conversations we have between the finance, operational and trading teams to focus on the critical issues and drive plans to course correct.
    You'll have the following responsibilities
  • Delivers financial and commercial support to key stakeholders, driving optimal business decisions and delivering better financial and commercial performance
  • Strong stakeholder management and business partnering to drive performance and delivery of MTP
  • Provide robust and insightful analysis to the trading units which explains the key drivers cost transformation, demand and efficiency
  • Manage and drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
  • Playing a lead role in shaping the content and discussion for quarterly MD reviews
  • Creation of regular outlooks to understand risks and opportunities, working closely with stakeholders to close gaps
  • Drive a dataled and insight orientated culture, ensuring high quality data sets are available
  • Work collaborative to tell the story for Service.

You'll have the following skills & experience

Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)

Data Storytelling
  • Utilizing data and analytical techniques where appropriate, and effectively communicating this to business audiences

  • A proven track record of effectively influencing stakeholder requirements

Financial Management Experience
  • Experience in financial management and improving financial performance

Strategic and Commercial Awareness
  • Demonstrated strategic capability and commercial awareness

Collaborative Problem-Solving
  • A collaborative approach to problemsolving

Proficiency in Excel and Communication
  • Proficient in Excel, with strong written and verbal presentation skills and a keen eye for detail

  • Willingness to voice an thoughts and explore the "art of the possible"
