The Scrum Master is an advocate of Agile ways of working, building self-organising teams from a pool of multi-disciplined Infrastructure Engineers, BAs and testers.

Facilitating ceremonies, coaching & mentoring the team leveraging product ownership in priority, quality & ownership of barriers to change.

The role will require you to work, inform and influence a range of stakeholders across the engineering and business communities, identifying opportunities for improvement, challenging the status-quo.

You will form part of the Engineering community within the Digital Workplace Services division reporting into the Head of Function

Responsibilities and Duties:

Organise teams of engineers & Agile Business Analysts.
Ensuring change governance procedures and controls are adhered to
Leadership in removing barriers between stakeholders & squads, ownership of escalations
Ownership of squads backlog
Provide transparency of demand, committed workload and prioritisation.
Evangelising Agile ways of working, developing squads and driving improvements
Practice continuous learning through attending company and/or industry training.
Harvest a culture of curiosity and challenge across the engineering community

Skills and Abilities:

Experience of Agile ways or working within an Infrastructure community
Knowledge of Agile frameworks (Kanban, Scrum etc)
Experience of facilitating Scrum ceremonies
Experience of developing product owners (e.g. refining backlogs, prioritisation)
Proven experience of developing Infrastructure teams
Ability to foster a safe environment where challenges are openly shared
Drive adoption and consistent usage of Agile tooling (Jira, Confluence, DevOps)
