Job Title:
Data Analyst


Reporting to:
FP&A Analyst


Location:
Remote (once/twice a month travel to Tewkesbury office)


The role:


The role is a key role to support to all of the Netomnia Directors with management of all aspects of operational analysis, performance management, system data integrity and improve business processes for each department within Netomnia.

Being able to take business data and convert it into meaningful information to drive positive change within the organisation.


Responsibilities:

Create reporting that helps support key performance metrics, reduce costs and improve efficiencies;

Powerbi reporting is essential for this role to succeed and developing reporting that is user friendly and easy to pull together, by making sure fields are available in the right databases to allow simple reporting for users to self serve.

Supporting operational teams with Powerbi reporting for external third parties
Leading and developing all MI for SLA Contractor Performance on a monthly and quarterly basis
Leading and developing on all key KPIs (via Powerbi) that drive performance improvements
Business partner across departments to form a bridge with finance by creating reports, stats and data that link, align and track against the business' strategic goals
Lead and manage all projects from business development team including all BDUK submissions from costing to pricing submissions.
Drive commercial data into operations producing the build tracker each weekly and pipeline analysis

Be able to cover/support head of project controls and commercial with project support data, AFP reviews and AFP system reporting.


PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Excellent excel and analytical ability, Powerbi experience, happy to work with data that has missing

information and connecting data across many sources. Able to see the gaps in data.

Passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change and the ability to work under pressure on multiple projects within timeframes given.

A strong interest in business and business development.


Knowledge and Skills:
Experience in similar environment for the last three years, must have exceptional advanced excel skills e.g. (Power query, Power pivot). Powerbi essential. SQL/DAX is not essential.


Experience:

Ability to work with and manipulate incomplete/inconsistent data and natural curiosity to understand the why.
