The Best Connection currently is seeking for an Administration & Finance Assistant.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage purchase orders, invoices, and expense processing.
  • Assist with recruitment, induction, and orientation of new employees.
  • Organize new starters and leavers, maintaining organization charts.
  • Manage vehicle fleet in collaboration with the leasing company.
  • Assume responsibility for maintenance of office equipment.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and order items.
  • Respond to inquiries and requests for information.
  • Answer incoming calls and perform receptionist duties as needed.
  • Assist with payroll processing.
  • Create and update spreadsheets of daily transactions.
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable.
  • Review and process reimbursements.
  • Keep records of invoices and tax payments.
  • Manage company liabilities, including insurance premiums.
  • Identify and address account discrepancies.
  • Stay current with regulations, requirements, and laws.
  • Provide front desk customer service and maintain a tidy reception area.
  • Take clear messages and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Maintain an organized file system.
  • Update daily bank reports and perform bank reconciliation.
  • Manage and control creditors' accounts to ensure timely payments.
  • Assist with monthend reporting, including general ledger review and variance analysis.

Requirements:


  • Proven work experience as a Finance Administrator, Finance Assistant, or similar role.
  • Handson experience with accounting software.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and financial Excel functions.
  • Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures.
  • Strong timemanagement and organization skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Fluent in Italian preferred.

Work Schedule:


  • Monday to Friday, 8hour shifts.

Experience:


  • Administrative: 5 year (preferred).
  • Credit controller in Food industry: 1 year (required).

  • Italian

  • Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
  • 28 days Paid Annual Leave prorata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
