Project Administrator required for our public sector client to work remotely.

Job Title Project Administrator


Pay Rate £200 per day PAYE - Umbrella options available


Hours 37 Hours a week (Mon-Fri) Full remote


Duration 6 Month Contract

Our Project administrators handle the administrative functions of the Our Care Connected programme.

They oversee and support the project's daily functions to ensure deadlines and compliance requirements are met, the Project administrators report to the Business Manager within the programme.

Our Project administrators must have advanced computer literacy, communication and administrative skills. They help us manage and process governance activity to support delivery of project cadences. They work across the OCC programme.


The post holder will be required to assist with and provide administration support across the programme and under the direction of the business manager.


The role will involve effective diary management, through the co-ordination and arrangement of meetings, taking and write-up of minutes, making appropriate meeting room bookings, liaising with external partners to diarise meetings and ensuring relevant papers are co-ordinated in terms of collation, circulation and printing in a timely manner.


  • You'll display good judgement, self motivation and excellent organisational skills and you're able to manage multiple deadlines
  • You'll be able to establish priorities and meet deadlines whilst preserving the high level of accuracy and confidentiality needed
  • You'll have good interpersonal, oral and written skills and ability to relate to a wide variety of people
  • You will have a strong attention to detail and a right firsttime approach
  • The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team is a given taking that a step further you'll proactively seek out work and where you can help others
  • You'll be able to set expectations and deliver on what you promised you would do
  • Sometimes resilience is needed perseverance whilst understanding other viewpoints and priorities is essential
  • A good project administrator is engaging, enthusiastic about their work and genuinely wants to help remove the blockers where they can so the team can deliver to the best of their abilities.
  • A high degree of computer literacy including advanced knowledge of the MS Office Suite especially MS Teams, Excel and Word

Your responsibilities

  • Schedule regular meetings and record decisions and issue minutes to time and with mínimal correction (e.g., assigned tasks and next steps)
  • Create and update workflows and work across the programme to ensure actions are monitored and progressed
  • Prepare and provide documentation to internal teams and key stakeholders such as meeting packs or update reports
  • Managing daily administrative functions of a project or program
  • Liaising with other professionals and external parties
  • Coordinating and administering meetings and providing diary support as needed

Requirements:


  • Work experience as a Project Administrator, Project Coordinator or similar role
  • Handson experience with minutes, workflow management and presentations
  • Solid organisation and timemanagement skills
  • Team spirit
  • Attention to detail
  • Organised and efficient
