Are you an experienced Cost Planner / Estimator seeking a dynamic role in a thriving company? Join this team in Birmingham and play a crucial role in their continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Planning Excellence: Collaborate with the Head of Cost Planning to prepare detailed Cost Plans from initial concept to full working drawings, meeting tight deadlines.
- **Land Acquisition Expertise**: Provide invaluable commercial and budgetary advice, preparing detailed Cost Plans for land acquisition. Regularly update plans and revise Acquisition Budget as needed.
- **Supply Chain Collaboration**: Work closely with the supply chain to obtain current day pricing for various work elements, ensuring accurate estimates.
- **Cost Database Management**: Establish and maintain an efficient cost database covering materials, labor, plant, suppliers, sub-contractors, and preliminaries.
- **Material Take-Off Expert**: Undertake material take-offs and compile schedules, ensuring precision in the final Build Cost Budget.
- **Market Savvy**: Stay informed about market and industry trends, seeking technological developments for enhanced cost-effectiveness.

Offer:
