End Systems are now recruiting a Trainee Electrical Technical Author to work as part of a busy team of mechanical and electrical technical authors, producing electrical and mechanical operating and maintenance manuals and associated documentation for a variety of clients.

The role requires a hardworking, conscientious operative who is comfortable communicating with clients and preferably has a basic understanding of mechanical information such as equipment quotations, schematics and layout drawings, specifications and schedules.

Technical authorship encompasses the interpretation of building services drawings, specifications, equipment schedules and information, from which the author will produce detailed text to describe how the building services of a particular building are operated and maintained by the occupant.

Experience of technical authorship isn't essential for this role as we would provide the relevant internal training utilising our structured and tested training programme, however a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferred.
