Description
Milestone Infrastructure is currently recruiting for a General Civils Operative to work for our Projects Team in North Somerset.


As a General Operative you will have practical experience in civil related activities on public realm schemes including road construction, drainage, kerbs, working around utilities, works within traffic management.

You will demonstrate high standards of health, safety, wellbeing, environment & quality standards.

You will act as an ambassador for Milestone Infrastructure to the client, members of the public and other stakeholders.


Skills & Experience

  • Gerenal site housekeeping duties
  • General site duties in line with specific training (e.g., banksman, traffic marshal).
  • Carry out loading and unloading vehicles in line with manual handling training.
  • General excavation works using hand tools as instructed.
  • Mix and place concrete, mortar and other building products.
  • Use of general construction plant in line with training
  • Carry out general cutting, breaking, drilling, mixing, pumping, compacting etc duties.
  • Clean and maintain tools and other equipment.

dditional Information

  • You must possess a high degree of manual dexterity demonstrated through the use of hand tools.
  • You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers and be required to walk and stand on uneven ground.
  • You must also be able to work within a confined space, without restriction.
