The Communications and Marketing Officer is responsible for delivering the communications and marketing activity across the Centre, contributing to our ability to achieve our purpose of enabling our community to thrive.


The purpose of this role is to promote the Bromley by Bow Centre and our various activities to our community and varies stakeholders through the development, implementation, tracking and optimisation of a communications and marketing plan across multiple channels (including website and social media platforms).

The role will oversee consistency in terms of quality, voice, tone, branding, messaging and frequency of all our communications.


The post holder needs to ensure that our communications and marketing activity aligns with the organisation's strategy; expanding and growing audiences among t those who might support us as well as among those that use us.

The activity needs to be properly targeted, and our limited resources appropriately allocated.


This role will work closely with colleagues across the Centre to ensure that our approach to communications and marketing aligns with our ambition to be a community-led organisation, working with local people to develop and implement a person-centred, holistic, and integrated model of support, driven by what matters to the community.
