Description
The Staff Bureau is a team working within the Corporate and Shared Services section of the Finance Division.

It is a service providing temporary accounting assistance to any department or associated body of the University, charged at an hourly rate.

Departments may require assistance due to vacancies, maternity leave or may decide to use the Staff Bureau on an ongoing basis to cover a part-time role.


The Role


The post holder can be deployed to any department at short notice and will be responsible to the Head of Department or their nominated departmental administrator.

The role provides a full range of accounting duties, primarily using CUFS, to departments either as the main finance person or assisting the departmental accounts team with short to long term accounting needs.

Location


This role would usually be based at Greenwich House, however the Finance Division is currently trialling hybrid working, with two days a week from Greenwich House.

This arrangement is currently temporary.
