Project Accountant - Aberdeen (Fully remote role)

Contract role - circa 3 to 5 months

Up to £80,000 per annum

Nicholas Hendry has partnered with a growing ambitious business, based in the Aberdeenshire area. Instantly recognisable, our client has a vacancy for an experienced Project Accountant to join their team.

Responsibilities:

This is a position that would best suit a Qualified Accountant / Qualified by Experience Accountant (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) Ideally, you will have prior working knowledge of:

Acting as a financial partner to relevant leadership teams to ensure all financial issues are robustly and effectively managed and reported
Timely preparation of accurate financial reports, complying with all relevant accounting policies and requirements
Provide constructive challenge and input into project review meetings to ensure that issues are identified, reported and addressed
Work closely with the Commercial teams to understand and influence business performance and manage risks. Ensure risk is effectively reported.
Prepare budgets and forecasts both internally and externally
Be proactive in identifying variances from forecasts and liaise with budget holders and commercial managers as appropriate
Manage Project reporting and accounting
