Iconic Resourcing HR are delighted to working with a well-known Engineering & Facilities services company in their search for an experienced HR Advisor to join their team in Scotland on a 1-year FTC to cover maternity leave.

This organisation operates on a national level and the role of HR Advisor will support circa 360 people regionally.


Reporting to the Group HR Manager the HR advisor you will provide a professional HR advisory service and be an integral part of a busy HR team in a growing organisation.


With a strong focus on employee relations you will coach, mentor and develop managers to enhance their leadership skills and competencies to deal with management issues of an HR nature (e.g., TUPE, performance management, reward and recognition, talent management etc).

As well as liaising with managers and occupational health in relation to referrals for high absence levels, stress related illnesses or long-term absences on more complex cases.

You will attend hearings at appeal stages or for serious cases as guided by the Head of HR.


Further generalist responsibilities include but are not limited to; accurately assessing employee mood within client group and contribute to/implement imaginative responses and strategies to enhance the working environment.

In addition to sharing knowledge regarding employment trends and changes in legislation as they impact on our business, ensuring HR activity is conducted in an ethical and legally compliant manner.

We are looking to speak to experienced HR Advisors, ideally from a manufacturing or construction background.

You will be able to assimilate and analyse complex data in order to provide accurate information for the purpose of reporting, advising, and guiding the business.

In addition to a working understanding of UK Employment Law and forthcoming changes. Full Driving licence is essential as travel across the region will be a requirement in this position.

£35,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
