Description

A major global law firm is hiring a Senior Conflicts Analyst to join their team on a remote working basis.

The purpose of this role is to support the firm in managing matter opening in accordance with policies and procedures, and managing issues queriedby the Conflicts Analysts.

You will need to have a proven ability to analyse and resolve complex conflicts of interest and manage confidential information issues at a law firm, preferably an international firm.

You should have experience in risk, compliance, or AML projects and experiencewith Intapp Open would be beneficial.

Responsibilities of this position include:

Reviewing and researching new business intake requests for potential conflicts
Adding and analysing data in the conflicts system according to the firm's procedures
Carrying out research to establish corporate structures
Ensuring all conflicts checks are completed and accurate
Conducting AML due diligence for existing clients
Performing data analysis to identify potential issues
Identifying sanctions, reputational issues, and resolving legal and commercial conflicts
Contributing to updates and improvements to policies and procedures
Identifying and resolving confidential information issues, implementing information barriers and document security processes
Reviewing engagement letters, outside counsel terms, and engagement terms
Advising Conflicts Analysts in managing business intake requests
Identifying compliance training needs throughout the business
Identifying common and complex conflicts encountered and developing resolution methods for other Analysts to use
Investigating and analysing challenging cases
Monitoring highrisk customers and implementing a riskbased approach
Ad hoc project work
