Senior Software Engineer , £65,000, Remote

Responsibilities:


  • Take responsibility for the UX/UI within your product
  • Follow best practices in development and ensure that your code meets company standards
  • Develop unit and acceptance tests to ensure ongoing quality
  • Address security concerns with team leader
  • Work with solution architects and developers to ensure products work coherently and logically
  • Achieve and retain an AWS certification and mentor other developers
  • Document the scope and configurability of our products for internal and external use
  • Run showandtell sessions to gather feedback and ideas from team members, other departments, and customers
  • Work with Test Engineers to ensure highquality products
  • Use development tools to optimize and automate workflow
  • Contribute to retrospectives to continuously improve products and processes

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with web projects
  • Proficiency in React, , HTML, javascript/jquery, and CSS
  • Knowledge of objectoriented patterns and techniques
  • Experience with Serverless framework and AWS CDK is a plus
  • Understanding of contact centers and cloud infrastructure is beneficial but not required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problemsolving skills with ability to work within tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with customers and stakeholders
  • Enthusiasm for learning new skills and embracing change
  • Knowledge of AWS platform is advantageous but not required
