Do you want to be part of a dynamic and complex Division leading on the patient safety and quality portfolio within Surgery at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust? Do you want to take the next step in your career? If so this could be the role for you.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to join our division in a senior clinical position as Matron for our Surgery, Gastroenterology and Anaesthetics division.

We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic and passionate individual with proven leadership experience who has the energy to support and coach staff to ensure best practice across services.

You will be required to be an exceptional communicator, problem solver and able to build positive and effective relationships. You will lead by example, motivate and empower the team as well as be passionate about staff well-being.

We will support you in developing your portfolio so that you can lead on quality priorities within the division and represent the division in Trust wide forums.

You will be involved in projects, service development and redesign.

You will be required to travel cross site between Colchester and Ipswich Hospitals.
